Traditional Tutoring
This is the scheduled tutoring session with a community member, quite often it may be an older student or maybe even a trained educator. The difference is that these sessions are not targeted. The learner may be struggling in class, however the sessions may not occur when assistance on a specific issue arises. Whereas with CQ Tutors, the learner gets assistance when it is most needed.
Tutoring Services
These are organizations and may even be franchised. Most of the issues are similar to that of "Traditional Tutoring". However, another major difference is that these organizations may also follow specific programs, which can miss the specific concerns that a student has. Also, although these organizations may often use educated tutors, they are not necessarily specialist in the area they are tutoring, something CQ Tutors will accomplish
Cognitive Tutors
Cognitive tutors or smart tutors are AI tutoring programs. The concern here is that they may be great for programs such as math, but there are limitations to concepts found in the other subject areas. CQ Tutors will have specialists with every subject area.
